Terms & Conditions

Because we all need them!

UPDATED STATEMENT ON COVID-19 PANDEMIC
The safety of our audiences, company members and venue staff/volunteers is our highest priority so please follow guidance to ensure the safety of yourself and others.

Access:

Because we perform in a variety of historic venues sometimes access can be tricky. Please use our contact page to find out accessibility at the venue you are interested in and we'll try our best to help.

Weather:

If we didn't perform in bad weather then we wouldn't perform in the UK! We won't stop or cancel a show due to weather unless absolutely necessary so bring an umbrella, wrap up warmly and enjoy the show in spite of it! If the show goes ahead we won't refund tickets.

Toilets:

Not all of our venues offer toilet facilities please check individual venue websites for details or contact us

Dogs:

Unfortunately although we love them we can't let dogs into venues unless they are guide or assistance dogs

Tickets:

Links for tickets are on our website under "Tickets" and the specific show title. You can also call Sarah on 07732 253311 to book over the phone. Please be aware that we can't take credit card payments over the phone. There is a £2 booking fee on all transactions to cover bank, handling and administration fees.

Refunds:

If you are feeling unwell with symptoms of Covid-19 on the day of a performance we kindly ask that you don't attend the show but wish you a speedy recovery!

We will happily offer you a ticket for an alternative date/venue where possible but sadly as a small company working with many venues that are charities we are unable to offer refunds unless we cancel a show. We may be able to offer refunds if a show sells out and we are able to re-sell your tickets. Please drop us an email and we can make a note of this against your booking in this circumstance.

If government/local guidelines alter resulting in need to cancel a show we will contact all audience members and issue full refunds.

Please note the £2 booking fee applied to all sales in non-refundable in any circumstance as this covers our bank, handling and administration fees.

Where tickets are sold directly by venues, these will each operate their own ticket/refund policy so please visit their website for details.

Concessions:

The following are eligible where concession tickets are available to purchase at the discounted rate:

Over 65s  • Under 16s  • Unemployed  • Students with an NUS card  • People with a disability

People with a Disability requiring assistance may have 1 x additional concession rate ticket for their personal assistant.

Please be aware that proof of eligibility may be required.

For venues selling own tickets please contact them directly for details of concessions.

Carers:

Where no concession rate ticket is available for purchase, those with a disability requiring assistance may have 1 free carer attend performances. Please contact us: info@thisismytheatre.com / 07732 253311 to notify us of attendance so that we can reserve seating.

Children under 4

Children under the age of 4 don't need a ticket.

Emergencies:

If there is an emergency during the show please follow the guidance of company and venue volunteers/staff (hopefully you'll never experience this!)

Inappropriate/Disruptive Behaviour

This is my Theatre and the venue volunteers/staff reserve the right to refuse or revoke permission to access any venue. Any behaviour considered to be unacceptable may result in the refusal of entry or ejecting from the venue. In these instances no ticket refund or alternative will be offered.
